When planning and making my radio advertisement to promote my local newspaper  I will need to research radio jingles and even songs that can be used, ones which people enjoy listening to or can easily remember which may encourage people to buy and read my newspaper. Although this is a big scale advertisement for a national newspaper minus the video this is slightly similar to what I would like to do. The song is easy to understand and without the video we would get the impression that it is normal people singing as they are not professional and good singers. Again using the video and seeing normal people in day to day jobs gives us a sense of realism about the paper, the public are obviously happy with the news they are given, so we trust the paper that it is not selling lies or unresearched and unsupported stories etc.  Also we can clearly hear the cut from one voice to the next indicating it is a different person singing etc. This shows variety of how many people or read the newspaper, all the different individuals and personalities that enjoy the same news, showing that the sun is adaptable to everyone’s interests and likings. When the song finishes and there is a voice over the masthead of the sun and an image of the newspaper, it arguably confirms the professional side of the newspaper we have went from the public to the reassuring voice of the man selling the paper with the terms and conditions etc, again creates trust.
